My name is Casey Albert and I live in the beautiful Berkshires. I am a full time Graphic Designer and Paginator. I have my own business doing freelance Graphic Design, Photography and Videography.
In my spare time I like to create art. My art can be seen below and can be purchased at Commonfolk (12 Holden Street, North Adams, MA). I love to repurpose items. I create jewelry, record bowls and other art by repurposing vinyl records. I love to be at events in the area so if you see me, make sure to say hello.

MIDDLE ROW LEFT: Riverworks SEPTEMBER 2022 Location: Milne Public Library Williamstown Theme: Artists Envision the Effects of Climate Change Along the Hoosic River Reception Art Piece:Polluted Cage • Medium: Repurposed Record Covers Researchers have found that climate change can impact migratory birds and actually it already is. Times are shifting when birds migrate causing many species to migrate earlier due to warmer spring temperatures and many are also delaying their autumn departure because of global warming. A life without birds would mean that animal carcasses would litter the earth which would then create a seriously foul odor while spreading diseases. Dogs or rats would have to take over to get rid of these issues and then that would create a whole new problem. The world is essentially a polluted cage that we all live in. My piece focuses on the birds within this "cage". Birds have been around for over 150 million years and walked the earth with the dinosaurs. I wanted my piece to represent how magical they are and how the climate change is affecting them. Watching the birds and how they are reacting proves that we need a big change.
MIDDLE ROW, MIDDLE: Riverworks OCTOBER 2021 Outdoor Art Show off of Water Street in Williamstown, MA Theme: Honoring Mohican Homelands in the Hoosic Watershed Art Piece:EMPTY Take a step back to take in this painting from afar. This tree should look as if it’s empty in one section and all you can see is the water through the empty part of the tree. This painting represents how the Europeans took the land from the Mohican Indians and it left them feeling empty inside. The family roots of the Mohican Indians were tied to their land. Their roots grew in different directions yet they remained as one, just like this tree. I wrapped the roots with solar powered lights to represent how family was the light of their lives and the land lit up theirs.
MIDDLE ROW, RIGHT: Riverworks SEPTEMBER 2020 Outdoor Art Show off of Water Street in Williamstown, MA Theme: Pandemic (Covid) Art Piece:MONEY TREE Money Tree It all starts with the familiar saying "Money doesn't grow on trees". Before the pandemic my boyfriend and I would "burn" through money a lot so we could go on date nights. We would pay a lot for a babysitter, event tickets, eating at a restaurant and having drinks. It all added up really fast and we didn't realize how much we were spending because it was just normal for us to want to do fun things. When COVID hit and we had to stay home we actually started saving money. I had to work from home and we couldn't go out to do things like we used to. We saved so much money that I paid off my credit cards and ended up raising my credit score. Doing so made me think about getting a house of our own and that is when we started searching to buy. We now live in our first house and it is super exciting but we did learn a lot from the pandemic. We learned that money doesn't grow on trees and to spend our hard earned money on more important things. It's fun to go out and do things but not all fun things need to cost money. A hike in the woods or a picnic at the lake are fun and free things to do with your family. We learned that making memories is very important and money can't buy those.
